As reported by Censor.NET, SBU showed the journalist in good health at a press briefing on May 30.
Babchenko said he joined a special operation to prevent terrorist activities of the Russian secret services in Ukraine a month before his "assassination"
"As far as I know, this operation was held for two months. I joined it a month ago. During this month I watched the guys being all over it, watched the great pains they took... And all this month we were in touch, we thought it over, worked on it, took action which subsequently resulted in this special operation," Babchenko told a briefing on Wednesday.
As reported, Russian writer and opposition journalist Arkady Babchenko died of gunshot wounds to the back after he was attacked on the doorstep of his apartment in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district on May 29. Police say the main and most obvious theory of the homicide is Babchenko's professional activity. Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation also initiated a probe into the journalist’s murder.
