As reported by Censor.NET last tribute to Viacheslav Kutsmai, born in 1986, will be paid on Mykhailivska Square in downtown Kyiv at 10 a.m. on May 25.
Kutsmai was born in Kyiv on Nov. 7, 1986. He joined the Donbas special purpose platoon of the National Guard of Ukraine in 2014, took part in battles for Ilovaisk where he was captured. After being liberated in a prisoner swap in December 2014, the serviceman rejoined the ranks of the battalion. In October 2016, he and his companions-in-arms transferred to the 16th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 58th separate mechanized brigade. He also took part in the trade blockade of the occupied Donbas. Subsequently, the soldier joined the reconnaissance platoon of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade and later transferred to the 24th separate mechanized brigade.
