"During a raid on the enemy's rear to detect weapons used to shell peaceful settlements, the Ukrainian troops spotted an enemy observation post. One fighter was killed while three others were captured in a short skirmish. There were no casualties among our soldiers," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation said in a statement, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.
The Joint Forces handed the three captives and their personal firearms over to the SBU Security Service of Ukraine. The investigation is under way.
"An application has been filed for giving state awards to the commander of the group and the personnel who participated in the raid," the press center added.

In turn, Commander of 46th battalion Viacheslav Vlasenko (call sign Filin) said that the battalion's subversive and reconnaissance group raided the enemy fighting position on the outskirts of Holmivskyi village on the night of May 21.
"One terrorist was killed (a native of Belgorod, the Russian Federation) and three more armed militants (born in the cities of Yenakieve and Horlivka, temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine) were captured in combat operation as a result of the decisive actions of the fighters led by the deputy battalion commander. The scouts returned to their unit’s base camp unharmed," he wrote on social media.
