Larysa Sarhan, a spokesperson for Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko told Censor.NET.
The spokesperson also confirmed this information on social media. According to her, the motion has already been registered in the secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada.
"This is the lawmaker who hindered journalistic activities of the correspondents for Censor.NET and Kameniary-info news outlets inside the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Ponomariov deliberately committed a criminal offense punishable by part 1 of article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal seizure of information collected by a journalist or the equipment a journalist uses doing one’s job, as well as deliberate obstruction of the authorized journalistic activity. There is sufficient evidence of the offense committed by MP Ponomariov which had been collected in a lawful manner under criminal case initiated against him," she wrote.
