As reported by Censor.NET citing sources familiar with the matter, the judge died when he was driving with his family from Berdychiv to Kyiv.
Bobrovnyk, born in 1980, was appointed a judge of Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv for five years in June 2007. In 2012, he was assigned his office for life under the Verkhovna Rada decree.
Bobrovnyk handled cases of suspended State Fiscal Service Chief Roman Nasirov, former MP Mykola Martynenko, Chairwoman of the State Audit Service Lidia Havrylova, and runaway lawmaker Oleksandr Onyshchenko. He also handled many cases initiated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
