"Statement by the leaders of the terrorist groups regarding the alleged signing by Kyiv of the agreements on the demarcation line are absolute lies and a provocation. The Ukrainian military did not leave and will hold those lines of defense that exist under the Minsk agreements," the speaker of the Information and Analysis Center of the NSDC Andrii Lysenko said.

"The ATO forces continue to observe the ceasefire under the peace plan of President Poroshenko," he stressed.

"We officially declare that the issue of giving up a single Ukrainian town or village has never been considered. No one will give up anything to the enemy in the territory where our citizens live," Lysenko said.

Earlier, several media quoted head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko stating that on Thursday the DPR and the Ukrainian government signed an agreement on the demarcation line under which the Ukrainian troops leave several towns in the Donetsk region, including Pisky (suburbs of Donetsk) and that this line will be considered the line of withdrawal of artillery systems and tanks.
