As reported by Censor.NET referring to Channel 5, the shelling occurred at around 11 p.m., May 1, as the enemy used 152-mm artillery. Some 15 shells fell onto civilian homes. The HQ stresses the militants hit the village, where no Ukrainian troops are deployed.
"Russia's occupation forces launched an attack on civilians in Troitske. They used heavy artillery as shells fell on the outskirts of the settlement, endangering the villagers and destroying three houses. Miraculously, no civilians sufferred," said Vitalii Kyrylov, the Pivnich (North) Operations Command chief.
He added the shelling killed several domestic animals and a power line was damaged. The civil-military cooperation units provided all necessary assistance to the villagers as works to restore the electricity were in progress.
