Russian Foreign Ministry Annoyed by UN Report on Ukraine Acknowledging Russia Supports Terrorists

Moscow criticized the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Office monitoring mission report, which states of the Russian militarily intervention to Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Alexander Lukashevich said this Thursday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinfrom.

"We have been perplexed when we drew attention to some non-governmental organizations based absurd allegations of the so-called direct intervention of the Russian Federation in the situation in the east of Ukraine. I should remind in this context that the International Committee of the Red Cross has already featured the events happening in Ukraine as an armed conflict of non international nature," he said.

According to Lukashevich, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights mission's own vision of the situation in the east of Ukraine "undermines the credibility of the report's conclusion."

"We still do not see unbiased approach and assessment by the authors of this document of what is happening in Ukraine. The authors continue to use information selectively and make politically motivated conclusions based on this information," he stressed.
