"As part of the probe initiated under part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, driver of Mazda was served with charge papers. The person was detained under article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The suspect is now in a Kryvyi Rih-based hospital under police guard due to health issues. He will be taken to the court for bail hearing in the near future," Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
As reported, eight persons were killed in the car crash in Kryvyi Rih on the morning of April 17. More than 15 victims including four in extremely critical condition remain in hospitals.
