This was stated by Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yurii Prodan, Censor.NET reports with reference to UNIAN. "We have sent our proposals to the European Commission. We are not obliged to send the proposals. But we send them to the EC, and it will in some way, most likely, coordinate these proposals," Prodan said. He also added that Ukraine has passed not only the schedule, but all the other proposals to resolve the situation with Gazprom on October 6. He did not specify other details of the Ukrainian proposals, citing the progress of the negotiations. At the same time, he stressed that the Ukrainian and Russian sides have no agreed positions on the gas issue.
"We have no agreed positions with the Russian side. It is important for us to have an agreed position with the Russian side, and as of now we don't. There is a position of the Russian side, a position of the Ukrainian side, and the European Commission is trying to bring these two to a common denominator," Prodan said. In addition, he stressed that the approved date of gas talks in Ukraine-Russia-EU format has not been determined. "There is no approved date," the Minister said.
