"Given the information received, it was Mosiichuk who was their mark," Kononenko told a briefing on Thursday.
"The organizer is a member of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Federation," added Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Kononenko.
He also recalled that one of the perpetrators of this act of terrorism was detained while two others were put on the wanted list.
The investigators believe they are hiding from justice on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Late on Oct. 25, 2017, people's deputy Ihor Mosiichuk was wounded in explosion near Espreso TVbuilding in Kyiv. His body guard Ruslan Kushnir and political analyst Vitalii Bala were with him in the moment of blast. Later, the body guard died in the hospital.
