Stanislav Patiuk was elected as deputy chairman of the NACP. The decision was taken unanimously.
According to the law, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption is responsible for monitoring and verifying of declarations of persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local government, storing and publishing of such declarations, monitoring the way of life of these people.
Korchak resigned from her post immediately after the vote as the term of her office expired. However, she remains a member of the agency.
"Oleksandr Manhul was born on July 24, 1976 in Kamianka-Dniprovska village in the Zaporizhia region. From 2000 to 2013, he occupied various posts in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (including during Petro Poroshenko’s tenure as head of this ministry - Ed.) and State Committee of Ukraine on Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship. He worked his way from the chief officer to director of a department. Manhul chaired the Melitopol Regional State Administration in the Zaporizhia region from May 2015 to February 2018. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed him a member of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention by its decree No. 31-p of Jan. 17, 2018," says Manhul's record available at the website of NAPC.
Manhul also headed the Melitopol brunch of Petro Poroshenko Bloc party.
The new agency chairperson is the son of former Melitopol Mayor, former MP, and former Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Anatolii Manhul.
