"Indeed, under law, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine jointly with the National Anti-corruption Bureau have conducted investigative actions concerning, among other things, SAP's chief, Mr. Kholodnytskyi," he told ICTV channel, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.
Lutsenko said he could not yet disclose more information. "I will tell only after interrogations and examinations if there are signs of crime that are documented with a wiretapping device installed in Kholodnytsky's office," he said.
Several news agencies earlier reported that Kholodnytskyi considered his resignation over alleged health issues. According to another opinion, possible resignation of SAP’s chief can be connected to the pressure exerted on him. Kholodnytskyi later said he had no intent to resign.
