On October 4, terrorists shelled boats of Ukrainian coast guards in the Sea of Azov.

It was reported at a briefing by the NSDC Deputy Head of the Information and Analytical Center Volodymyr Poliovyi, Censor.NET writes.

"Yesterday terrorists shelled a tactic group of coast guard boats that went out to sea near Mariupol to the place where Ukrainian boat was shot and sank on August 31," Poliovyi said.

He stated that border guards wanted to inspect the scene once again and continue to search for the missing sailors.

"However, at 1:40 PM the enemy mortared Ukrainian border guards from a distance of about 5.5 km from Shyrokyne village area. The boat crews responded promptly and drove the boats to a safe distance," Poliovyi noted.
