 Permanent Representative of Russia to OSCE Admits That There Are Russian Troops in Donbas

Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Andrei Kelin confirmed the presence of Russian troops in the Donbas.

According to him, the Russian soldiers enforce the truce, and also going to help to create the map of the conflict area, Censor.NET informs, referring to Ekho Moskvy.

He aslo added that there are about 80 Russian soldiers. According to the diplomat, they arrived by the invitation of the General Staff of Ukraine and are working together with the OSCE observers.

Kelin stressed that it is necessary to withdraw heavy weapons to points about 15-30 miles away from the conditional line. The procedure itself will begin as soon as the situation calms down. Kelin admits that, in the meantime, clashes continue in the so-called buffer zone. Donetsk airport is one of these hot spots.
