"I met with Nadia Savchenko in the pre-detention facility #6. She is kept in a special unit. A deputy from Ryazan is in one cell from her and the crowned thieves are in the cells next to hers. The authorities are trying to put pressure on Savchenko in jail by sending an investigator of Ukrainian origin, born in Sloviansk. He unsuccessfully threatens her with a long prison term," the lawyer said.
"Savchenko's detention conditions in the pre-detention facility #6 are stricter than in the pre-detention facility #3 in Voronezh. She was forbidden to keep personal records here - they took away and tore her diary. They also forbid her to communicate with other prisoners. Even for a walk she is taken when there is no one else. She also prohibited receiving mail," he added.
"Nadia does not lose her spirit and determined to fight to the utterance. However, she is worried that she is useless for Ukraine being in prison. Nadia asks to tell the Ukrainians to keep patience and courage. She thanks everyone for the support. Glory to Ukraine!" Polozov stated.
"Nadia Savchenko has filed a petition to the Basmanny court demanding her personal participation in the process on October 13. She is going to support the appeal of the defense personally. By the way, we are going to present a motion in the Basmanny court on October 13 for open court trial. Nadia wants everyone to know what she would say," he added.
