As reported by a correspondent for Censor.NET, the memorial service was held on Instytutska Street in the heart of Ukraine’s capital city, Kyiv.
On Feb. 20, Ukraine marks the anniversary of the deadliest crackdown on the protesters during the Revolution of Dignity.
The priests consecrated a cross installed on the construction site of the future memorial to the heroes who gave up their lives on the Maidan.
The memorial service was attended by the relatives of the murdered Maidan activists, their companions-in-arms and concerned Ukrainians willing to honor the memory of the Heavenly Hundred heroes. They brought flowers, candles and national flags.
