As reported by Censor.NET, the farewell ceremony for the deceased soldier will be held in Zhylyntsi village (the Yarmolyntsi district of the Khmelnytsky region) at noon tomorrow, Feb. 21.
Kushnir was shot and injured by an enemy sniper on the outskirts of Marinka on July 30, 2017. He had been treated since that time but didn’t make it. The soldier died on Feb. 18. He was survived by his parents.
In 2014, Kushnir volunteered to fight in the ranks of the Interior Ministry’s Bohdan special forces detachment and later joined the 46th special forces battalion.
