An unidentified person armed with an ax rushed into the courtyard of the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv and damaged a dozen cars.

Solomianskyi court Judge Viktoria Kytsiuk wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.

"An unidentified person rushed into the courtyard of the court in the afternoon and started crashing the cars parked there with an ax. About 10 cars were damaged. The daily routine of the Solomianskyi court," she wrote.

A spokeswoman for the Supreme Council of Justice Oksana Lysenko said that no one was hurt in the incident.

"Fortunately, no one was hurt! Obviously, the judicial system will have to take measures to protect the courts," she wrote.

"Eyewitnesses spotted a male armed with an ax entering the courtyard of the Solomianskyi district court on Shutova Street. He instantly started crashing the cars parked there. The law enforcers detained the man, "the police later reported.

The team of local police investigators left for the crime scene. The preliminary report says the attacker managed to damage 13 cars.
