 95 Donbas Battalion Soldiers and 400 Servicemen from Other Units Remain Prisoners

Minsk agreements on the all-for-all exchange of POWs have not been fulfilled with about 500 Ukrainian soldiers remaining imprisoned by the terrorists.

According to Censor.NET, this was stated by Donbas battalion commander Semen Semenchenko on Espreso.TV.

"Currently a lot of prisoners of war have not been released, but we now need to work in this respect and negotiate the release of the detainees," he said.

As for the number of POWs, Semenchenko noted that during the past 3 weeks 25 people from the Donbas battalion have been freed with 95 remaining in captivity.

"The situation in other volunteer battalions and the Ukrainian armed forces: about 400 people are being held by various terrorist groups," the battalion commander said.

He also noted that the terrorists demand money from relatives of imprisoned soldiers.
