As reported by Censor.NET, the prosecutor general unveiled the details of the meeting in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels.
Lutsenko noted that he accidentally met Kolomoiskyi in downtown Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and had a talk with him.
"Kolomoiskyi approached me. We did say hello to each other. We did have a talk. If you wonder whether we discussed his business, such conversations have never happened. I've met him no less than perhaps a dozen times in my life," Lutsenko said.
Lutsenko and Kolomoiskyi told each other jokes about Russian President Vladimir Putin and discussed political situation in Ukraine.
"What were we talking about? Or, to be more exact, what those few words we exchanged were about? Of course it was a joke about Putin. Secondly, we talked about the political situation in the capital city. To be honest, I hinted at the unacceptability of providing financial support for the radicalized performance that Saakashvili staged in downtown Kyiv. It was up to Kolomoiskyi whether to take it to account or not. I cannot dictate who the business should support," Lutsenko stressed.
He also said that he ‘lobbied’ Kolomoiskyi’s candidacy to the post of the Dnipropetrovsk region governor as he believed that was the right decision under the existing circumstances.
