Putin Voices Agreements With Poroshenko: Terrorists Are To Cease Offensive


Vladimir Putin agreed on a plan to resolve the situation with Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko.

The declaration was made by the Russian president in Mongolia,reports Censor.NET referringto ITAR-TASS.

Putin said the plan contained seven items.

"In order to stop bloodshed and stabilize the situation in thesoutheast of Ukraine, I believe the conflicting sides shouldimmediately agree and carry out the following actions incoordination," he said.

First, the Russian leader said, "active offensive operations ofarmed formations of southeastern Ukrainian militiamen should bestopped on the Donetsk and Luhansk directions."

Putin says use of aviation against civilians in Ukraine'ssoutheast should be stopped.

As reported by "Interfax-Ukraine," another item onthe reconciliation agenda is withdrawal of the Ukrainian armedforces "from the South-East regions."
