 Switzerland Convenes Emergency Meeting of the OSCE Council on the Situation in Ukraine

Switzerland, which chairs the OSCE, convenes an emergency meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organization on the situation in Ukraine.

Representative of Switzerland to the OSCE Thomas Greminger put forward this initiative, Ukrainian Pravda reports, citing Swiss representative of the OSCE Twitter account.

It is reported that the focus of the meeting will be the situation in Ukraine.

It will be held in Vienna OSCE headquarters at 11 am local time (12 pm Kyiv time).

Earlier on Thursday, Prime Yatsenyuk asked Western partners to convene an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on Russia's military aggression in the East of Ukraine.
