 Russia Officially Asks Ukraine to Release the Detained Paratroopers, Claiming They Were Lost. DOCUMENT

Despite the fact that the Russian paratroopers detained in Ukraine said they guessed that they are were crossing the border, while the official Moscow continues to insist on the occasional violation.

Based on this, chairman of the Presidential Council on Civil Society and Human Rights Mikhail Fedotov asks Ukrainian colleagues to help to return to the Russian soldiers home, Censor.NET reports, referring to НР-Ukraine.

Fedotov appealed to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeria Lutkovska to help a fast resolution of the situation related to the detention of the Russian soldiers in the village of Dzerkalnyi of the Amvrosiivka district of the Donetsk region.

"The Russian soldiers, being in an area where they were detained, could not assume that they are on the territory of a neighboring state. We known that similar incidents of crossing the Russian border by Ukrainian soldiers also took place and they were successfully resolved," Fedotova's lettersaid.
