 Release of All Hostages Was Agreed Upon at Minsk Talks – Foreign Ministry

The main results of the meeting in Minsk are reaching an agreement for real progress in the release of all the hostages in the near future as well as intensifying consultations to close portions of the border, which are controlled by illegal armed groups.

This was announced at a briefing of Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinfrom.

According to him, the appropriate contacts between the border services of Russia and Ukraine and the countries' General Staffs should be set up immediately.

"Despite the challenging nature of the negotiations, we see the results as the first but very important step towards finding common ground on a set of issues," Perebyinis summed up.
