 Turchynov Signed a Law on Sanctions against Russia

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov signed a bill №4453a on sanctions against Russia, prepared the Cabinet, and forwarded it to the President Poroshenko for signature.

The official website of the Parliament writes about it, Censor.NET reports, citing Liga.

On August 14th, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on sanctions against Russia. For such a decision 242 deputies voted.

According to Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko, on the basis the adopted law, Ukraine expects to impose sanctions on 65 companies and 176 individuals. "The essence of the law is to create legal mechanisms to enforce both sectoral and personal sanctions against those individuals and countries that support the occupation of Ukraine, are opposed to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, who finance and support terrorism and separatism," he said.
