 Poroshenko Could Dissolve the Parliament on August 24

Decision on the future of the Verkhovna Rada of this convocation will be made taking into account the Constitution and the will of people, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko noted.

Censor.NET reports about it, citing the press service of the Head of State.

"The decision will be made when there will be constitutional grounds and, as we know, their time falls on the Independence Day," the President told journalists in Mykolaiv.

The Head of State informed that he would hold consultations with factions and executives of the Verkhovna Rada on the given issue. "In my decisions I will be guided by the aspirations of Ukrainians. Ukrainians demand reload and lustration. Elections are the best form of lustration," the President emphasized.

Petro Poroshenko stressed that according to recent data, more than 80% of Ukrainians support the idea of re-elections to the Verkhovna Rada. The President noted that he was ready to support the people's choice. "We fulfill the aspirations of people," the Head of State said.
