One Third of Donetsk Is under Threat of Flooding: Terrorists Have Totally Destroyed Infrastructure

Third of Donetsk is under threat of flooding by groundwater because of the fighting.

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak stated this at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today, Censor.NET reports citing Novosti Donbasa.

"We did not expect such a change of the terrorists' tactics, who currentlyhave realized that they will never live here, so they continue to totally destroy the infrastructure. You know what a critical situation there is in the mines, both private and state owned. They deliberately hit the surface infrastructure destroying the power supply system. If the energy system is out of order, there is no way to pump out the water. Ground water level rises in the result threatening to flood one-third of Donetsk," Shlapak said.
