 ATO HQ Confirmed that Military Convoy from Russia Entered Luhansk

Commander of the ATO in the Luhansk region Ihor Voronchenko confirmed that the convoy of Russian military equipment is currently in Luhansk.

He told this to Hromadske.TV reporters by phone, Censor.NET informs.

"The convoy of Russian Armed Forces entered the territory of Ukraine 3 days ago. That is 1200 people being probably soldiers of the Russian Federation Army and 150 armored vehicles including tanks and Grads," he said. He is also convinced that the convoy is operated by the Russian Federation servicemen. According to Hromadske.TV, now the part of the convoy stands in Luhansk on 30 Rokiv Peremohy Street.

Earlier, local residents reported of a convoy of military equipment from Russia which went through Mykolaivka village of the Stanichno-Luhanske district and entered Luhansk. The information of Russian heavy military equipment carrying mercenaries was confirmed later on Facebook by director of the Center for Military and Political Studies Dmytro Tymchuk.

Hromadske.TV journalist Anastasia Stanko also reports on Twitter of the eyewitnesses who saw an armored convoy. "Those people in the town of Shchastia, who I managed to speak with, confirm the information but they say that those are ordinary mercenaries as before but not Russian Army regulars," she writes.
