 Pilot Nadia Savchenko’s Lawyers Recommend Her Sister Not to Go to Russia

Lawyers of captive by Russian side pilot Nadia Savchenko recommend her sister not to go to Russia to meet with Nadia.

Vira - sister of captive Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko announced this today in the air of Channel 5, Censor.NET reports citing UNN.

She noted that she has written the appeal to the investigator to meet with Nadia but still received no answer. At the same time, lawyers of the Ukrainian pilot grant Vira no consent to date with her sister. "Lawyers do not give the nod to visit her striving not to complicate Nadia's situation. It would be okay if the Russians simply deport me but what if they start questioning me as a witness?" she said.

She told me that a few months ago she was already at the airport on the way to Moscow. "I was turned back by the consul, the Border Guard Service officers and lawyers asking not to depart," she said. Vira says that she will not take such steps without the permission of lawyers. Nadia also advises her sister not to come.
