According to him, Ukrainian troops conducted strikes on the militants positions on the outskirts of Luhansk, killing people and destroying equipment of the enemy.
"The militants carry out a counterattack on several fronts simultaneously. The terrorists fight especially fierce to regain control over the areas that cuts strategic routes H21 (near Shakhtarsk) and M-04 (near Novosvitlivka and Khriashchuvate), which provide Donetsk and Luhansk intercommunication with other territories controlled by the insurgents," Tymchuk writes.
In addition, he notes that "the ATO forces fire power control of the highway M-04 section near Luhansk makes it impossible to deliver "humanitarian aid" from Russia in this city, if the Russian Federation dares to illegally move it through militants controlled territory, roughly ignoring the demands of the Red Cross, Ukraine and the international community. This fact forced Moscow to demand the Ukrainian authorities to stop hostilities in this area. It remains unclear on what basis Kyiv should fulfill these demands."
"The terrorists reinforce strong points near cities of Snizhne, Stakhanov and Alchevsk at the same time beginning to withdraw a part of manpower and military equipment closer to the border with Russia, to the regions of Sverdlovsk-Rovenky- Molodohvardiisk-Izvaryne. Obviously the last frontier of the militants will be formed here granting them access to the border with the Russian Federation, which allows receiving support and then retreating to the territory of Russia," Tymchuk said.
At the same time, the attacks on the ATO forces positions continue. In particular, positions near Berezove, Illinka, and Plotyna villages were shelled at night.
