 74 Civilians Killed over Three Days of Battles in the Donetsk Region

74 residents of Donetsk region were killed another 116 received injuries of varying severity over the past three days of fighting.

The health department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration provides corresponding information, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

1,623 people were injured and 839 killed in total since March 1, when the fighting began in the Donetsk region.

In addition it is reported that the terrorists have started using prohibited mines.

"Thus, according to the National Security and Defense Council, the representatives of the armed gangs operating in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions began to use mines forbidden by the international conventions. Therefore, it is recommended not to pick up suspicious objects including toys, lighters, mini radios and other attractive stuff. They may trigger mines," the Donetsk Regional State Administration emphasizes.

In addition it is noted that seven civilians received injuries of varying severity by fragments as a result of shelling of Donetsk downtown (near the city prosecutor's office) today.

There is no information on casualties.
