 Humanitarian Convoy for the Donbas Left Kyiv Today

Trucks with humanitarian aid from Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv are on their way to Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the Ukrainian government has said.

The departure of the convoy was controlled Infrastructure Minister Maksym Burbak and representative of the President of Ukraine to resolve the situation in eastern Ukraine Iryna herashchenko, Censor.NET informs, citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Maksym Burbak told that similar columns left Kharkv and Dnipropetrovsk on Thursday, the total number of trucks is 71 cars, with a total weight of 773 tons of cargo in trucks of food (cereals, sugar, canned food), basic necessities.

As the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported, columns of trucks left at 1100 for the town of Starobilsk in Luhansk region, where the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will meet them according to international norms. The ICRC will distribute this aid among civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk regions who are in territories controlled by Russian-led insurgents.
