National Guard Liberates Hirske in the Luhansk Region, the Closest Border Line to Pervomaisk

The anti-terrorist center reports the town of Hirske near Pervomaisk (the Luhansk region).

This is stated by Espreso.TV citing the ATO press officer Leonid Matiukhin, Censor.NET reports.

"The ATO forces liberated the town of Hirske near Pervomaisk," he said.

The National Guard units today entered the town of Hirske and independently carried out an operation to liberate it from the armed terrorists. Flags of Ukraine were set over the local house of culture and the city administration, the press service of the National Guard states.

Currently the forces of the National Guard in the area are setting up checkpoints which will operate around the clock. In the near future the law enforcement officers will take measures to stabilize the crime situation and maintenance of public order in the town.

There were no losses among the personnel during the liberation of the town.

The town of Hirske is the closest border line to Pervomaisk and further on to Stakhanov, where one of the several large groups of terrorists is deployed.

The terrorists are now divided into approximately five groups, which significantly complicates the delivery of reinforcements and ammunition.
