 Ukrainian Government Provides Additional UAH 10 Million to Buy Vital Goods for Eastern Ukraine

The Ukrainian government will additionally provide UAH 10 million to buy vital goods to be sent to the ATO zone.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said about it, Censor.NET reports, citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian President supply vital goods to all liberated territories. We as the Ukrainian state provided and will continue to provide our citizens [with aid] and the government additionally allocates UAH 10 million to buy vital goods," he said, opening a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

The prime minister said that the Global Peace Foundation has around $6 million in the management of the UN commissionaire. The funds will be also sent to the provision of humanitarian aid to eastern Ukraine.

Yatsenyuk ordered the Infrastructure Ministry, Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry, Health Ministry and Foreign Ministry to form a column to supply vital goods to eastern Ukraine.

The Prime Minister asked the Red Cross to help delivering the goods to people, as the territories are under control of illegal armed groups.
