The hostilities took place in the Petrovskyi district, Censor.NET informs citing the official site of city mayor Oleksander Lukyanchenko.
Shells hit private houses at Zonalna street, 11 Latsys Street and 3 Dorozhna street as well as 6, 7, 8, 2, and 3 floors of a nine-story building at 2 Shchipachev Street. Glazing in the neighboring buildings as well as in the main city hospital №14 and dental clinic was damaged. Five civilians were injured in the Petrovskyi district.
"The situation in the city remains tense as of 09.30 am. Electric substations were again damaged as a result of the shelling at the Kirov and Petrovskyi districts; 25 transformer substations damaged in the village of the Trudovska mine and another 25 in residential neighborhoods of the Abakumov mine. Repair works continue on the Donetsk bakery; 10 transformer substations are to be powered in the Tekstilnyk neighborhood. The pipeline of low pressure at 64 Magdeburg Street was damaged by shelling. 70 houses of the private housing were cut of gas in the Petrovskyi district," the mayor's office said.
