 Russia Sent Artillery Sections to Frontier Zone with Ukraine – ATO Press Center

Command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation sent artillery crews from different districts of Russia and the cadet gunners to the frontier zone with Ukraine.

This was stated by the press center of the ATO, Censor.NET reports.

"Changes in the operational situation as of 19.00, August 12. The militants continue to fire at the ATO positions, including from the territory of the Russian Federation. According to a source, shelling of the residential areas, "green corridors" and Ukrainian soldiers has turned particularly cynical. Command of the Russian Armed forces made a criminal decision about deploying artillery sections from different districts of the Russian Federation and student-gunners to the frontier zone with Ukraine. The crews are conducting the shelling of the above mentioned objectives," the statement says.

"The illegal armed formations in the territory of Ukraine continue to resist the ATO forces. In turn, our troops continue activities to block the militant groups from the main transport communication with Russia as well as final encirclement of Luhansk. Militants are pulling last effort trying to control the towns of Ilovaisk, Horlivka, Shakhtarsk, Yenakieve," the statement notes.
