 Red Cross Does Not Know What Exactly Russia Has Sent in a "Humanitarian" Convoy: We Must Understand What Is There by Ourselves

Russia violated an agreement with the Red Cross and sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine without providing a list of the goods onboard the trucks in advance.

Representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross Andre Loersh said this in an interview with Deutsche Welle, Censor.NET informs

"But we have not received this list so far. This is why we are so surprised by the news that Russia has nevertheless sent humanitarian aid convoy. These messages have completely confused us: now we have to understand what's going on," he said.

According to Loersh, a telephone conversation of the President of the Red Cross with President Petro Poroshenko to be held on Tuesday in order "to find out what is actually going on."

"The basic condition for our cooperation with the mission of humanitarian aid supplies from Russia is providing us the items of aid for check. In this case the transfer must be held in the official point at the Ukrainian border," Loersh explained.

He added that it is the organization which determines who should get aid.

According to the representative of the Red Cross, the organization is doing everything in order to remain neutral and not to be involved in a conflict.
