Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has announced that his government has proposed imposing sanctions on 172 citizens of Russia and other countries as well as 65 businesses.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has announced this at a briefing today, Censor.NET reports, citing LigaBusinessInform.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will submit for consideration of the National Security and Defense Council a list 172 individuals - citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of other states who sponsor terrorism, supported the annexation of Crimea and threaten the territorial integrity and independence of the Ukrainian state. Also there is a list of 65 enterprises for imposing sanctions - they are mostly owned by Russians, support and finance terrorism, and they are directly related to the commission of crimes on the territory of Ukraine," said the prime minister.
