 Lukashenko Promised Poroshenko to Help Ukraine with Oil Products

Belarus will assist Ukraine providing oil products.

Belarusian leader Aleksander Lukashenko said this to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in a telephone conversation on August 4, Censor.NET informs citing Liga.

"The closer attention was paid by the presidents to the topic of supply of petroleum products from Belarus to Ukraine. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that Belarus understands the severity of this issue considering the harvest, therefore, despite the domestic needs, it will assist Ukraine in ensuring its oil economy," the report says.

The leaders also discussed trade relations between the countries and other issues of bilateral cooperation.

Earlier, it was reported that the contact group to resolve the situation in eastern Ukraine has agreed at a meeting in Minsk that the terrorists shall release 20 men captured during the fighting in the Donbas.
