 Recruiting Office in Kharkiv Fired at from a Russian RPG

In Kharkiv unidentified persons fired at a local recruiting office from a man portable rocket launcher.

This was stated by head of the regional Defense Ministry Media Center Dmytro Horbunov, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"At 2:35 a.m. unknown persons fired a rocket launcher, presumably Russian-made Shmel (Bumblebee) type. Also about 5-6 rounds from an automatic rifle were shot in the direction of the first floor facade. None of the staff was injured. Entrance doors were damaged and windows were shattered. Several investigative teams are working at the scene," Horbunov.

He noted that the rocket launch and gun fire came from Malynovskoho street.

On Saturday night unknown persons fired an RPG at the tank factory in Kharkiv. According to preliminary data of the law enforcement agencies, the attackers used a rocket launcher MPO-A manufactured in Russia.

According to UNIAN, the firing at the recruiting office in Kharkiv is qualified as a terrorist act. Investigation of the case will be conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine, with Kharkiv region prosecutor's office conducting procedural guidance.
