 Terrorists Shot Down Ukrainian Drone Using “Buk” System (updated)

A Ukrainian drone was shot down by a missile from the air defense missile system "Buk". It once again confirms the existence of such a complex among the terrorist’s arsenal.

This was stated by speaker of the Ministry of Defense Vladyslav Selezniov on Espreso.TV, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, the militants downed a Ukrainian drone conducting a reconnaissance mission in ATO area using a missile air defense system "Buk".

"Ukrainian Armed Forces drone was carrying out assignments to reveal the militants air defense systems."Buk-M1" shot at it. Its missile destroyed our drone," the speaker of the Ministry of Defense said adding that "This confirms that the terrorists have a "Buk ".

"And it is such system that downed the Boeing-777," he reminded.

"Today, August 1, in order to identify the air defense systems of the Russian mercenaries an unmanned aircraft was launched from the Ukrainian territory. The task of the of the automatic reconnaissance unit was successfully performed. The ATO Headquarters received a lot of information about the concentration and movement of the invaders and about the way they track the airspace. However, when returning to base, the drone was hit by an anti-aircraft missile launcher "Buk M-1."
