Spoils of war. Occupants continue 'arming' Ukrainian troops. Russia's involvement in the organization of terror in the Eastern Ukraine is becoming more and more evident. Russia is openly shelling Ukrainian troops from its territory. At the same time, Russia has almost ceased denying its role in equipping terrorists with ultra-modern weapons and ammunition. Another portion of Russian weapons and ammunition was recently captured at the battlefield.
Soldiers are showing Shmel jet infantry flamethrowers. 'From Russia with love' is written on one of them (in Russian). Ukrainian soldiers have also shown numerous boxes full of multi-caliber mortar mines. Marking attached to the mines indicates that all of them had been produced between 1996 and 2009. The mines are equipped with lightweight tails and contain more explosives. Experts confirm that Ukrainian army has never used such ammunition. Several mines also contain 'personal messages'.
'For turtle' is written on one of them in Russian. Another mine delivers a 'touching' message to Ukrainian soldiers from their Russian ex-brothers. 'Die, bitches,' it reads. Bombshell for hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher was meant to be a 'Gift from Odessa' for Ukrainian soldiers.
The soldiers eagerly show mortars and cannons they have collected at the battlefield. A D-30 howitzer bearing a note 'Zaika' ('Bunny') on its barrel is especially popular. Ukrainian soldiers also seized tanks, reconnaissance vehicles, infantry combat vehicles, and other Russian military weaponry.
Weapon experts from the Ukrainian Armed Forces say that after technical inspection the weapons will return to the army and will be used against the occupants.
