The forces of the anti-terrorist operation finally took the mound Savur-Mohyla in the Donetsk region. This is reported by LB.ua citing a soldier of the 95th Brigade, which led the fight for this height. "Savur is taken but it was hard," he said, Censor.NET reports.
Control of the Savur-Mohyla was taken on July 28. This victory allowed the opening of a corridor for supplying units which have been heroically holding off the enemy for a long time and have not allowed new shipments of weapons and mercenaries from Russia to cross the border.
However, the militants counterattacked the Ukrainian troops several times and the fighting has not ceased.
