 Cabinet of Ministers Wants to Increase Spending on the ATO and Restoring of the Donbas for 11,9 Billion Hryvnas

Originally, the government proposed to increase expenditure on strengthening the country's defense and restoration of damaged infrastructure in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions by 16.9 billion hryvnas.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes to amend the state budget of Ukraine for 2014 and increase for 11.938 billion UAH the costs of the anti-terrorist operation, placement of refugees and restoration of damaged cities, Censor.NET reports, citing UNIAN.

This is stated in the reworked draft law amending the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014", registered in the parliament on July 30 (№ 4308a). "It is proposed to increase the cost of the anti-terrorist operation, elimination of the consequences of possible emergency situations, placement of Ukrainian citizens transfered from the temporarily occupied territories and areas of the ATO, and the restoration of social infrastructure destroyed during the war, for 11937800000 UAH," a memorandum to the bill says.
