 Mortar Shelling of the Dovzhanskyi Border Checkpoint Kills Four Ukrainian Border Guards

Shelling the Dovzhanskyi border checkpoint in the Luhansk region from Russia killed four and injured two Ukrainian border guards.

This was reported in the National Security and Defense Council, Censor.NET reports, citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"Yesterday, from 10 am the Dovzhanskyi border crossing point in the Luhansk region was shelled from mortars and howitzers from Chernikov village of the Russian Federation for 4.5 hours. The Ukrainian border guards fired more than 250 shells. The shelling killed four and injuring two Ukrainian border guards," speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the NSDC Andrii Lysenko said at a press briefing on Monday.
