U.S. Allocates $ 33 Million to Maintain Security Agencies of Ukraine

The U.S. allocates $ 33 million to support the Ukrainian security agencies also planning to strengthen efforts of the Russian-Ukrainian border reinforcement until the end of the year.

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette said this at the briefing, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.

"Our assistance to the security agencies of Ukraine is about $ 33 million now and we are considering a far broader program of assistance until the end of this year. We will mainly co-work with the Border Guard Service in the direction of denying the possibility of crossing the border by vehicles, people etc. I may not disclose the details but I can assure you that the American experts working with the Ukrainian Border Guard Service conscientiously deliver all the necessary cutting-edge technology and equipment," he said.
