Flight Recorders of the Downed Boeing-777 Arrived in the UK under the Supervision of ICAO

On July 23 at 7:45 the "black boxes" of the Boeing-777 aircraft arrived in the United Kingdom under the supervision of ICAO.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

According to the State Commission of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 Crash Investigation, previously a common understanding of the transfer procedure was reached and confirmed by a joint technical protocol, which was signed by the representatives of the Netherlands, Malaysia, Ukraine and ICAO.

The protocol stipulates that the objects, which are called "black boxes" were presented to the Ukrainian side, but the Ukrainian side did not touch them, and they were not under the control of the Ukrainian side even for a minute.

After signing the protocol, the boxes were flown to Kyiv and then to the UK under the supervision of ICAO.
