 Interior Ministry of Ukraine Initiated Criminal Proceeding against the Russian Defense Minister Shoygu and Businessman Malofeev

The Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine initiated the criminal proceeding against the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoygu and businessman Konstantin Malofeev.

According to Censor.NET, this information was released by the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

"The investigation proceeding has been conducted by the Main Department for Combating Organized Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It was proved that since March this year under the direct support of some officials of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, headed by Sergey Shoygu, illegal military troops were organized and sent to the territory of Ukraine to execute their militant operations at the territory of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

The illegal armed units under the immediate command of the citizens of the Russian Federation have been attacking on the regular basis in an outlaw manner the Ukrainian public authorities, the Ukrainian Army and the National Guard of Ukraine units, civil enterprises, institutions etc. These acts inevitably have led to numerous human victims, large-scale destruction and other severe consequences", the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

During the investigation it has also been proven that the private person might be playing some role in this regard.

Shoygu Sergey Kuzhugetovich, 1955, a citizen of the Russian Federation, Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, who organized participation of some unidentified individuals in illegal military operations at the territory of Ukraine, unlawful character of which have led to death of numerous people and other heavy consequences (chapter 3 article 27, chapter 5 article 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

Malofeev Konstantin Valerievich, 1974, a citizen of the Russian Federation, businessman, he is suspected in supporting (financing) participation of some unidentified individuals in the illegal military operations at the territory of Ukraine, unlawful character of which have led to death of numerous people and other heavy consequences (chapter 3 article 27, chapter 5 article 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Main Department for Combating Organized Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is taking all possible measures in full accordance with the Ukrainian legislation to force these persons to be engaged in the investigation operations.
