 SBU Referred the Case of Russian Saboteur Bagheera to Court: She is Facing up to 8 years in Prison

On July 21 the SBU completed a pre-trial investigation and sent to the court the indictment against Russian citizen Koleda (call sign Bagheera), who committed unlawful acts to destabilize the situation in the southern regions of Ukraine.

According to Censor.NET, citing the press center of the SBU (the Security Service of Ukraine), the criminal tried to organize violent riots and seizure of administrative buildings in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

On April 8, the Russian citizen was arrested by law enforcement officers. The police confiscated a traumatic gun transformed for live ammunition and guidelines for the preparation of subversive groups.

The pretrial investigation under Art. 294 (riots) and Art. 263 (illegal weapons handling) was performed by the SBU investigators.

The offences are punishable by imprisonment of up to eight years.
